Children’s Community Charter School is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 school year, and we invite interested families to learn more about joining the CCCS community.

Located in Paradise, California, CCCS is a tuition-free public charter school serving students from Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our school is built around a simple but meaningful goal: helping every student learn, grow, and feel supported.

Whether your family is actively looking for a new school or just beginning to explore options, we would be happy to help you learn more about what CCCS offers.

A Small School with a Strong Community

At CCCS, students are more than names on a roster. Our school community is designed to help students feel known, supported, and connected.

Families choose CCCS because they are looking for a school environment where academics matter, relationships matter, and students are encouraged to grow as learners and as people. Our team is committed to supporting academic, behavioral, and social-emotional learning so students can build confidence, resilience, and the skills they need for the future.

Serving TK Through 8th Grade

CCCS accepts applications for students entering Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade.

For the 2026–2027 school year, Transitional Kindergarten applicants must be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2026, and Kindergarten applicants must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2026.

Families with more than one student interested in attending CCCS should complete a separate application for each student.

How the Application Process Works

Families can complete the official 2026–2027 CCCS application online. The application asks for parent or guardian contact information, student information, grade level, current school, address information for district residency verification, and any applicable lottery priority categories.

If more applications are received than available spaces for a grade level, CCCS follows its public lottery and waitlist process. Families who apply after the lottery deadline may be placed on a waitlist if space is not immediately available.

Want to Visit First?

A campus tour is a great way to get a feel for CCCS before applying.

Families are welcome to call the office, ask questions, and schedule a time to visit. During a tour, you can learn more about the school day, campus culture, academics, student support, after-school care, and what makes CCCS a unique option for Ridge families.

Take the Next Step

If you are ready to apply, you can complete the official CCCS application online.

If you are interested but not ready to complete the full application yet, we encourage you to request more information first. A member of the CCCS team can follow up, answer questions, and help you understand the next step for your family.
